Las regiones del Estado tienden a la concentración de actividades, de comercio y servicios en los municipios de mayor grado de nivel de vida. El patrón de desarrollo a nivel estatalsigue dependiendo de la centralización urbana de la Región 7 Area Metropolitana de Monterrey. La Región 3 Centro presenta un sistema municipal en franco descenso en el nivel de vida, al igual que la Región 5 Sur.ABSTRACTThe present investigation has as line driver the estimate of the level of the population's life in theState of New Leon (Mexico), by means of the use of indicators of well-being and the population'shealth, of social opening and environmental impact. The municipality with index of higher level oflife was San Nicolás de los Garza while with very low level of life it corresponds Mier and Noriega.The regions of the State spread to the concentration of activities, of trade and services in themunicipalities of more degree of level of life. The development pattern at state level continuesdepending on the urban centralization of the Region 7 Metropolitan Area of Monterrey.
