This article aims to perform an analysis of the behavior of exports from the Department of the Atlantic during 2012 -2016. It is therefore a study that allows to know the exported values, main destinations and basket of products exported from Colombia to the world. Under a quantitative approach, the documentary review based on data mining is used as a research technique in its development. As a result, a document is obtained that outlines the main export characteristics in the department. The report will serve as input in the direction and management of international markets of small and medium enterprises.
