Estudio de la población microbiana en un sistema de biorremediación in situ de un suelo impactado con hidrocarburos de petróleo. por Ledezma Villanueva, Alejandro

    Publicado 2016
“…Bioremediation reduces high costs generated by confinement because it involves training, transportation and extensive use of heavy machinery thus resulting in a not very affordable way for the economy and in most cases the site is left behind in a state of environmental liability for an indefinite period until the authority establish an agreement for a treatment. …”

Regulación de la expresión de genes involucrados en la producción de compuestos de azufre en Saccharomyces cerevisiae por Leal Guerra, Clara Susana

    Publicado 2011
“…In the present study we analyzed genes involve in the production of sulfur compounds and their response under different process conditions using DNA microarray analysis. In the presence of worts with low level of nutrients nitrogen, strain 820 downregulated genes that favor the incorporation of sulfur to carbon skeletons (MET6, MET13, MHT1) and at the same time over expressed genes related to the input of sulfate into the cell generating sulfur (MET3, MET2) in the other hand, strain 790 upregulated the way of balance in the production of AdoMet / methionine (MHT1 gene), without having an effect in any other gene involved. …”

    Publicado 2019
“…Materials and methods: A multicenter, observational, and cross-sectional study was conducted that estimated the period prevalence of eosinophilic esophagitis in children seen at outpatient consultation and that underwent diagnostic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for any indication at 36 centers in 10 Latin American countries, within a 3-month time frame. Results: Between April and June 2016, 108 cases of eosinophilic esophagitis were evaluated. …”

    Publicado 2014
“…Microbiota is the correct word, defined as the community of living microorganisms residing in a determined ecological niche, and we use it, not only in the title, but throughout the article (79 times to be exact), whereas the less precise but commonly used flora is employed only 5 times.2 Secondly, the 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene is one of the components of the small subunit (30S) of the ribosome and is present in all bacteria and archaea. …”
