A new species of Trachymyrmex (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) fungus-growing ant from the Sierra Madre Oriental of northeastern Mexico por Sánchez Peña, Sergio R., Chacón Cardosa, Manuela Citlali, Canales del Castillo, Ricardo, Ward, Lauren, Reséndez Pérez, Diana

    Publicado 2017
“…The main character that distinguishes the new species from T. smithi is longer antennal scapes in T. pakawa; also, different nesting habits (rocky slopes vs. alluvial sites or deep sand in T. smithi), and geographic distribution. Phylogenetic analysis of DNA sequences from the mitochondrial marker cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) and the first intron of the F1 copy of the nuclear protein-coding gene Elongation Factor 1- α (EF1-α-F1) confirm a sister-species relationship between T. pakawa and T. smithi. …”

Influence of whole-wheat consumption on fecal microbial community structure of obese diabetic mice por García Mazcorro, José Francisco, Ivanov, Ivan, Mills, David A., Noratto, Giuliana D.

    Publicado 2016
“…Diabetic (db/db) mice were fed standard (obese-control) or WW isocaloric diets (WW group) for eight weeks; non-obese mice were used as control (lean-control). High34 throughput sequencing using the MiSeq platform coupled with freely-available computational tools and quantitative real-time PCR were used to analyze fecal bacterial 16S rRNA gene sequences. …”

    Publicado 2016
“…On the other hand, in the case of the high gain ultrasonic deinking, the optimal conditions were as follows: treatment time of 20 minutes, temperature of 25°C, low consistency (0.5%), and an application of the ultrasound in a continuous form (non-intermittent), obtaining an optimal brightness of 86.98%. …”

Fármacos epigenéticos con efecto en la actividad promotora del gen rb1 en células hepáticas humanas por Vargas Gómez, Jorge Eduardo

    Publicado 2019
“…After conversion, amplification of the minimum RB1 promoter was performed, and the amplified fragment was subcloned into a commercial vector for automated sequencing methylation analysis. The results showed an increase of 13.55% and 25% in the promoter activity of the RB1 gene due to the effect of the drug isotretinoin concentrations 5 and 10 μM in the HepG2 cell line at 24 h. …”
