Actividad lítica del péptido melitina sobre Neochloris oleoabundans (chlorophyta) para potenciar la extracción de lípidos. por Vargas Pérez, Magda Patricia

    Publicado 2019
“…In this investigation, the Langmuir technique was used to prepare monolayers of MGDG, DGDG and MGDG: DGDG 2: 1 (w / w) and when evaluating the ability of melittin lytic peptide to insert and disturb them, the results showed that melittin has the intrinsic property of interacting and disturbing interfacial monolayers that simulate the cell wall of microalgae, therefore, can be proposed to this peptide as an alternative biological pretreatment to those currently reported for the efficient extraction of oils. …”

A cellularized biphasic implant based on a bioactive silk fibroin promotes integration and tissue organization during osteochondral defect repair in a porcine model por Pérez Silos, Vanessa, Moncada Saucedo, Nidia Karina, Peña Martínez, Víctor Manuel, Lara Arias, Jorge, Marino Martínez, Iván Alberto, Camacho Morales, Alberto, Romero Díaz, Víktor J., Lara Banda, María del Refugio, García Ruíz, Alejandro, Soto Domínguez, Adolfo, Rodríguez Rocha, Humberto, López Serna, Norberto, Tuan, Rocky S., Lin, Hang, Fuentes Mera, Lizeth

    Publicado 2019
“…The mechanical assessment showed that the acellular BSs reached a Young’s modulus of 805.01 kPa, similar to native cartilage. In vitro biological studies revealed the chondroinductive ability of the BSs, evidenced by an increase in sulfated glycosaminoglycans and type II collagen, both secreted by the chondrocytes cultured on the scaffold during 28 days. …”

    Publicado 2017
“…It was observed that a concentration of 50 μg / ml, CpG 1826 reduces cell proliferation by 40%, in addition this CpG is able to induce the secretion of high levels of IL-10, an anti-inflammatory cytokine .Overall, the results suggest a biological role of TLR9 in the proliferation of B16F10 cells, proposing its use as monotherapy directed directly to the tumor cell, paying attention to its immunomodulatory properties that could have a detrimental effect on the immune system in the tumor microenvironment.…”
