    “…The effect of a pharmacology course on attitudes toward treatment with antipsychotic medications was evaluated.Methods: A survey was applied to students starting the fifth semester of Chemist Pharmacist Biologist, UANL, period august-december 2017.Results: At the beginning of the course, 16.9% would probably take drugs due to problems in their personal lives, 66.3% would not. 21.1% would probably take medication because they did not know how to deal with the life stress and 62.1% would not. 20.6% would take them feeling depressed while 58.7% would not. 33.8% would probably take them out of intense fear or feeling that they lose control, while 43.6% would not. …”

Using a Tobit model and gls, we find that health is a luxury good, with an expenditure elasticity useful for social valuation close to 2.0, and another useful for private investment of 1.24. …”
