“…Descriptive statistics were used for the analysis of sociodemographic variables and the X2 test for categorical variables; inferential statistics were used for verify the objective of the investigation, using non-parametric tests such as the Kruskal-wallis test and the MannWhitney U test, the t-student test was carried out for comparison between groups. The results showed that there are alterations in the visual perception of patients with schizophrenia, since they presented significant differences, in the comparison with the other groups, for the total errors in the copy tests (฀2 = 6.75 p = 0.034), immediate memory (฀2 = 11.33 p = 0.003) and recall memory (฀2 = 7.51 p = 0.023). …”

“…Abstract This work was conducted in the Sierra de la Candela mountain range on the High Basin of Nazas river in the state of Durango. 0ne of the goal was to develop a classification of the different types of vegetation associations as a basic tool for comparing the evolution of vegetation in the region, utilizing Lansat ETM and MSS satellite images and local cartography, the multitemporal analysis gave as a result an increase in grassland areas and open forest in decline of closed and semi-closed forest. It was carried out to evaluate the silvicultural treatments on the composition and structure of the vegetation The analysis was done comparing two experimental plots managed under different silvicultural practices, the first with thinning and the second using selective cuts. …”
