“…The results reported significative difference between the treatments (α=0.05) for each method; therefore was applied the mean multiple comparison , in which the highest values of NDF were seven and fourteen treatments respectively whit out significative difference (p<0.05); considering that the costs in function of the energy requirements for the treatment , were selected the treatment of se 0.5kgf/cm2 , 5min. y 1:3w/v. whit a value of NDF of 46.74% for MII and the 70°C, 5min. and 0.1N HCl whit a value of NDF of 65.14% for the MIII. In the second stage, the functional properties of fiber were evaluated by physic methods water absorption capacity (WAC), water retention capacity (WRC) and the oil adsorption capacity (OAC); expressed in g of water absorbed by g MS, g of water retained by g of MS and g of adsorbed oil by g de MS respectively; reporting average values of 9.22, 7.54 and 4.70 for the MI; 9.83, 8.16 and 4.90 for MII and 4.31, 4.10 and 2.96 for MIII respectively, observing an increment for the water steam pressure treatment and a reduction in the treatment whit the acid solution. …”
