“…For the displacement tests, the samples with the highest permeability were chosen, in order to perform the tests, a fracture was induced in the nuclei, they were saturated with n-decane and Preformed Particle Gel (PPG) was placed in the fracture, to finally was displace with distilled water the dean contained in the matrix, in the first test could not be moved because the PPG plugged the pipes due to the low permeability of the rock, while in the second test was recovery of almost 30% of the n-decane contained in the matrix with the injection of 2.7 porous volumes of water.…”

“…For the analysis of the anti-inflammatory activity of BB we used 24 male mice of the BALB/c strain that were randomly divided into two groups (n=12), the first group received purified water and the second group BB, both treatments were administered ad libitum for 10 days, subsequently, 6 mice from each group were sacrificed and the other six animal of each group were induced UC by an intrarectally administration of 2 mg of 2,4,6- trinitrobenzene-sulfonic acid (TNBS) dissolved in 4% acetic acid (AcOH), mouse were euthanized 24 h after colitis induction. …”
