The influence of habitat fragmentation on genetic diversity of a rare bird species that commonly faces environmental fluctuations por Canales Delgadillo, Julio César, Scott Morales, Laura Magdalena, Korb, Judith

    Publicado 2012
“…It's population numbers suffer greatly from the transformation of grassland into farmland that leads to a patchy distribution with locally small population sizes. Our data show that its genetic diversity is nevertheless high, few to no differentiation between study localities was found, and gene flow was high. …”

Insoluble chitosan complex as a potential adsorbent for aflatoxin B1 in poultry feed por Delgado Cedeño, Armando, Hernández Martínez, Sara Paola, Ramos Zayas, Yareellys, Marroquín Cardona, Alicia Guadalupe, Méndez Zamora, Gerardo, Franco Molina, Moisés Armides, Kawas, Jorge R.

    Publicado 2022
“…As a class of secondary metabolites or toxins produced by fungi, aflatoxins can poison humans and animals; among them, aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is the most dangerous one owing to its carcinogenic and mutagenic properties that increase risks for hepatocellular carcinoma in humans; hence, adsorbents such as smectites are commonly included in poultry feed to mitigate their effects. …”

Nutritional role of natural productivity and formulated feed in semi‐intensive shrimp farming as indicated by natural stable isotopes por Gamboa Delgado, Julián

    Publicado 2014
“…These isotopic differences can be used to infer the transfer of nutrients, as the isotopic values of prey items and consumers can be integrated in mass-balance mixing models, allowing the quantification of the relative contribution of multiple nutritional sources to the growth of a specific organism. …”

    Publicado 2012
“…Although at 10010 of modified bentonitc the dispcrsion is worse than in 5%. at 10% there are more nucleating siles for beta pbase formation and consequently more beta contento However. as concentration ofilie filler increases to 25%. the nucleating sites also increase but its dispersion into the compound becomes worse which strongIy decreases the beta pbase fonnation.…”

Identification and in silico structural and functional analysis of a trypsin-like protease from shrimpMacrobrachium carcinus por Viader Salvadó, José María, Aguilar Briseño, José Alberto, Gallegos López, Juan A., Fuentes Garibay, José A., Alvarez González, Carlos Alfonso, Guerrero Olazarán, Martha

    Publicado 2020
“…In the present work, we identified a putative trypsin-like protease cDNA fragment of 736 nucleotides from M. carcinus hepatopancreas tissue by the 3′RACE technique and compared the deduced amino acid sequence to other trypsin-related proteases to describe its structure and function relationship. The bioinformatics analyses showed that the deduced amino acid sequence likely corresponds to a trypsin-like protease closely related to brachyurins, which comprise a subset of serine proteases with collagenolytic activity found in crabs and other crustacea. …”
