Immobilization of redox mediator for anaerobic biotransformation of congo red dye. por Olivo Alanís, Daniel Simón

    Publicado 2015
“…Contribution and Conclusions: Lawsone immobilization on granular activated carbon (GAC) was successfully achieved with high capacity (~1.56 mmol/g), and desorption studies shows chemical stability; immobilization conditions may suggest esterification mechanism between lawsone and activated carbon. Furthermore, an easy way for chlorination of activated carbon, duplicate adsorption capacity of AQDS onto chlorinated carbon, compared with adsorption on unmodified GAC, then nucleophilic substitution may covalently bonded sulfonate groups of AQDS onto activated carbon; both immobilization (physical and chemical) shows good stability. …”

    Publicado 2018
“…No significant association was observed between HPV infection and the gender of the patients or the consumption of tobacco or alcohol; however, this association was positive for variables such as the number of sexual partners, not utilization of condoms and oral sex practices. Furthermore, sequencing analyzes were performed where genotypes 13 (21/24), 16 (2/24), 32 (1/24), 81 (1/24) and 83 (1/24) were identified; in addition, two E6 variants of HPV-16, one belonging to the European/Asian lineage and the other to the Asian/American one were obtained. …”

    Publicado 2018
“…Contributions: The main contributions of this thesis are: • The introduction of the bi-objective TPP with deliveries since few bi-objective versions of the TPP have been studied in the literature. Furthermore, to the best of our knowledge, there is only one more work that takes into account deliveries in a TPP. • The design and implementation of a hybrid heuristic based on relinked local search and VNS to solve the bi-objective TPP with deliveries. …”

Análisis de la producción de factores de virulencia y resistencia a antibióticos en biopelícula de Clostridioides (Clostridium) difficile en infecciones recurrentes y no recurrente... por Tijerina Rodríguez, Laura Esther

    Publicado 2019
“…Todos estos factores podrían influir en el desarrollo de la infección recurrente ABSTRACT: Clostridioides [Clostridium] difficile infection (CDI) is one of the leading causes of diarrhea associated with medical care worldwide, 20-30 % of CDI patients might develop recurrent infection, and up to 60% of patients after the first recurrence might develop further episodes. A multi-species microbiota biofilm model of C. difficile was designed to evaluate the differences in the production of biofilms with and without microbiota, sporulation, susceptibility to drugs, expression of sporulating (sigH, spo0A), quorum sensing (agrD1, and luxS), and adhesion-associated and biofilm production (slpA and cwp84) pathway genes between selected C. difficile isolates from R-CDI and non-recurrent patients (NRCDI). …”
