Biodiversity of tamaulipan thornscrub in relation to fragmentation por Jurado, Enrique, Cuellar, Gerardo, Flores, Mercedes, González, Ignacio

    Publicado 1999
“…Tamaulipan thornscrub has often been removed in northeastern Mexico to give way to agriculture and induced grasslands for cattle. This results in over 90% of thorn scrub being either removed or severely modified, with a few remaining fragments varying in size and distance to nearby fragments (isolation). …”

Soybean meal apparent digestibility for Litopenaeus vannamei, including a critique of methodology por Divakaran, S., Velasco, Mario, Beyer, Eric, Forster, Ian, G. J. Tacon, Albert

    Publicado 2019
“…The apparent digestibility coefficients (ADC) fordry matter, crude protein, and gross energy were calculated for the diets and these data were used to derive theapparent digestibility coefficients for the SBM at the two levels of substitution. The dietary inclusion levels of the chromic oxide and SBM acted together to significantly (p<0.05) affect theADCs obtained for SBM. Over all the treatments, the calculated ADC for SBM dry matter varied from 61.2 to84.7%; for crude protein from 89.5 to 102.2%; and, for energy from 78.7 to 100.1%. …”

Biomass and lipid induction strategies in microalgae for biofuel production and other applications por Alishah Aratboni, Hossein, Rafiei, Nahid, García Granados, Raúl, Alemzadeh, Abbas, Morones Ramírez, José Rubén

    Publicado 2019
“…Here, we review these strategies which include modulating light intensity in cultures, controlling and varying CO2 levels and temperature, inducing nutrient starvation in the culture, the implementation of stress by incorporating heavy metal or inducing a high salinity condition, and the use of metabolic and genetic engineering techniques coupled with nanotechnology.…”

Habitat and abundance of the Neotropical otter (Lontra longicaudis annectens) in Pueblo Nuevo, Durango, Mexico por Cruz García, Francisco, Contreras Balderas, Armando Jesús, Nava Castillo, Rigel, Gallo Reynoso, Juan Pablo

    Publicado 2017
“…Separately, the abundance of otters found in this case lied within a range that differed from the one reported by other authors, which varies between 0.21 and 1.22 otters/km; again, this was not a fixed value, but varied over the sampling period: it decreased in the rainy season and rose in the dry season. …”
