Development of Antibiofilm Biosurfactants from Marine Bacteria Against Shrimp Vibrio pathogens por Kiran, G. Seghal, Rathnam, Saba, Priyadharsini, Sethu, Selvin, Joseph

    Publicado 2017
“…Survival and pathogenicity of Vibrio was associated with the biofilm formation andquorum sensing. Therefore, disruption of biofilm formation and/or quorum sensing would be an effective managementstrategy in aquatic systems instead of killing the pathogens which obviously leads to the development of resistantstrains. …”

Deformación longitudinal global como un biomarcador en miocardiopatía diabética. Estudio comparativo con Galectina-3 en pacientes con fracción de eyección preservada por Flores Ramírez, Ramiro

    Publicado 2016
“…We hypothesize that Galectin-3 is related to GLS and can detect left ventricular dysfunction in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. Methods. Galectin-3 and GLS were measured in 121 asymptomatic individuals: 14 diabetics with mild depressed ejection fraction (mdEF) (LVEF 47.0 ± 6.9); 76 diabetics with preserved ejection fraction (LVEF 61 ± 5.5) and 31 controls (61.7±5.1). …”

Maternal overnutrition programs central inflammation and addiction-like behavior in Offspring por Montalvo Martínez, Larisa Jajaira, Maldonado Ruiz, Roger Alexis, Cárdenas Tueme, Marcela, Reséndez Pérez, Diana, Camacho Morales, Alberto

    Publicado 2018
“…Likewise, fetal programming can promote an inflammatory phenotype in peripheral and central sites through different cell types such as microglia and T and B cells, which contribute to disrupted energy sensing and behavioral pathways. Te molecular mechanism that regulates the central and peripheral immune cross-talk during fetal programming and its relevance on offspring’s addictive behavior susceptibility is still unclear. …”

Size-Selected Ag Nanoparticles with Five-Fold Symmetry por Gracia Pinilla, Miguel Ángel, Ferrer, Domingo A., Mejía Rosales, Sergio, Pérez Tijerina, Eduardo

    Publicado 2009
“…Our experiments were carried out in conditions that kept the density of nanoparticles low, and the formation of larges nanoparticles by coalescence processes was avoided. In order to preserve the structural and morphological properties, the impact energy of the clusters landing into the substrate was controlled, such that the acceleration energy of the nanoparticles was around 0.1 eV/atom, assuring a soft landing deposition. …”

Economic assessment of the environmental services of PNA Cerro Mohinora, Guadalupe y Calvo, Chihuahua por García García, Samuel A., Alanís Rodríguez, Eduardo, Aguirre Calderón, Óscar A., Yerena Yamallel, José I., CUÉLLAR-RODRÍGUEZ, Luis G., Alejandro Collantes Chávez, Alejandro, Rascón Solano, Joel

    Publicado 2023
“…The objective was to determine the willingness to pay (WTP) by the visitors through the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) in order to conserve the environmental services (SA) provided by the area and to know their perception of the current state of the Hill. 210 surveys were carried out to simulate a hypothetical market, where they asked what is the maximum amount they would be willing to pay to preserve and/or improve the SA of the PNA. The main results show that 90.48% of the visitors gave a positive WTP, 48.57% of the visitors are local and 55.24% have a university degree. 60.48% of the visitors do ecotourism on the Hill. …”
