Caracterización microfacial de los sedimentos carbonatados del Albiano-Cenomaniano en la parte central del estado de Nuevo León
Publicado 2017“…Particularly, the sediments recored in the Albian-Cenomanian interval in the central part of the state of Nuevo Leon are referred to two lithological units: the Aurora Formation (platform facies) and the Tamaulipas Superior Formation (basin facies), both units are barely documented about sedimentary microfacies studies. This work consisted in characterizing this two stratigraphic untis by using petrographic, microfacial, paleontological and deposit environment study with the analysis of thin sections elaborated from samples previously collected in the field at each lithological change, allowing the identification of the petrographic characteristics and the microfossil content. …”
