Deposition of size-selected cu nanoparticles by Inert Gas Condensation by Gracia Pinilla, Miguel Ángel, Martínez, Eduardo, Vidaurri, G. Silva, Pérez Tijerina, Eduardo

    Published 2010
“…The structure and size of Cu nanoparticles were determined by mass spectroscopy and confirmed by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron transmission microscopy (STEM) measurements. In order to preserve the structural and morphological properties, the energy of cluster impact was controlled; the energy of acceleration of the nanoparticles was in near values at 0.1 ev/atom for being in soft landing regime. …”

Size-Selected Ag Nanoparticles with Five-Fold Symmetry by Gracia Pinilla, Miguel Ángel, Ferrer, Domingo A., Mejía Rosales, Sergio, Pérez Tijerina, Eduardo

    Published 2009
“…Our experiments were carried out in conditions that kept the density of nanoparticles low, and the formation of larges nanoparticles by coalescence processes was avoided. In order to preserve the structural and morphological properties, the impact energy of the clusters landing into the substrate was controlled, such that the acceleration energy of the nanoparticles was around 0.1 eV/atom, assuring a soft landing deposition. …”

Economic assessment of the environmental services of PNA Cerro Mohinora, Guadalupe y Calvo, Chihuahua by García García, Samuel A., Alanís Rodríguez, Eduardo, Aguirre Calderón, Óscar A., Yerena Yamallel, José I., CUÉLLAR-RODRÍGUEZ, Luis G., Alejandro Collantes Chávez, Alejandro, Rascón Solano, Joel

    Published 2023
“…The objective was to determine the willingness to pay (WTP) by the visitors through the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) in order to conserve the environmental services (SA) provided by the area and to know their perception of the current state of the Hill. 210 surveys were carried out to simulate a hypothetical market, where they asked what is the maximum amount they would be willing to pay to preserve and/or improve the SA of the PNA. The main results show that 90.48% of the visitors gave a positive WTP, 48.57% of the visitors are local and 55.24% have a university degree. 60.48% of the visitors do ecotourism on the Hill. …”

Altered volcanic ash layers of the Late Cretaceous San Felipe Formation, Sierra Madre Oriental (Northeastern Mexico): U-Pb geochronology, provenance and tectonic setting by Velasco Tapia, Fernando, Martínez Paco, Margarita, Iriondo, Alexander, Ocampo Díaz, Yam Zul Ernesto, Cruz Gámez, Esther María, Ramos Ledezma, Andrés, Andaverde Arredondo, Jorge Alberto, Ostroumov, Mikhail, Masuch Oesterreich, Dirk

    Published 2016
“…These volcano- sedimentary strata represent the altered remains of vitreous-crystalline ash (main grains: quartz + K- feldspar (sanidine) + Na-plagioclase + zircon + biotite; groundmass: glass + calcite + clinochlore + illite) deposited and preserved in a shallow, relatively large in area, open platform environment. …”

Cosmological perturbation theory in f(Q,T) gravity by Nájera, Antonio, Fajardo, Amanda

    Published 2022
“…For scalar perturbations, outside the limit fT = 0, we got that the coupling between Q and T in the Lagrangian produces a coupling between the perturbation of the density and the pressure. This coupling is preserved when considering the weak coupling limit between Q and T. …”
