“…The objective of the study was to determine if there is presence and estimate the concentration of total mercury in four species of fish that is commercialized in the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey, Nuevo León. Relevant results: The highest concentrations were found in the catfish (Ameiurusmelas) (0.3361 ± 0.3336), while in the Scomberomorus sierra (0.1965 ± 0.2463), Robalo (Dicentrarchuslabrax) (0.1567 ± 0.0906) and Mojarra (Oreochromisniloticu) (0.2380 ± 0.1881) had lower concentrations of total mercury. …”
