Identificación de especies vegetales de interés antropocéntrico como alternativa sustentable en un ejido de Rayones, Nuevo León, México.
Published 2018“…Rayones, is one of the municipalities of the state of Nuevo León that has a great diversity of wild or cultivated plant species that might have a potential use, and 96% of its surface has forest but they may not have a timber potential use. A study was conducted through the application of 34 surveys to elderly people residing in the ejido Emiliano Zapata and in turn a market study was carried out in restaurants and herb stores in the municipality of Montemorelos, this allowed identification of 63 species cultivated or wild that are known by locals, their use and classification in categories (example, medicinal: for the stomach, headache, skin diseases; toxic; food; of ornate; among other), as well as those that have anthropocentric interest among which are: chamomile (Matricaria chamommilla), mint (Mentha citrata), basil (Ocimum basilicum) and oregano (Poliomintha longifolia), therefore the production of aromatic and medicinal plants can be a sustainable alternative for Ejido Emiliano Zapata de Rayones, Nuevo León. …”
