    “…Results In the present study, 49% were women and 51% men, 84.6% consume some alcohol, and beer was the preferred drink. 26.7% are smokers, with a higher representation for men (over 33.5%) while women were 19.7% showing statistically significant difference (p<0.01). 12.8% of the surveyed people used illegal drugs in the last month, and 23.8% in the last year. 35.9% consumed some illicit drug at least once in their life, the main illegal drug used was marijuana. Conclusions: In the present study, a high percentage of students consumed alcohol that increased the risk of using illegal drugs (OR = 2.64; IC 95%: 1.22 – 5.73). …”
