Publicado 2018“…The main findings of this work include the identification of litified stratiform and pseudocolumnar microbial mats, the microfacial characterization and its correlation with the Facies Zones coresponding to a restricted lagoon, a platform margin shoal and a peritidal area. Among the relevant findings derived from this study stand out the first report of the geochemical composition of the siliciclastic green shales from La Mula at La Virgen lower limit, and the first report of the two benthic foraminifera reported for the first time in La Virgen Formation (Choffatella decipiens and Charentia sp.) as well as the first report of the calcareous algae Thaumatoporella parvoversicura. …”
