    “…In order to analyze how food habits, nutritional knowledge, body image, eating behavior are related to the BMI in children and their parents, a study of mixed approach was developed in two stages: a quantitative one with comparative and relational design, with a sample of 246 children and their 246 parents to whom the Questionnaire on Physical Activity and Food Habits was applied; and a mixed one where, in the qualitative approach, it had an observational and phenomenological design, where two buffets were held in the school cafeteria, one with 12 children and another with 6 children and their 6 mothers, from which categories of food behaviors were obtained through content analysis. The quantitative approach was comparative and correlational based on the categories obtained and the application of the Questionnaire on Physical Activity and Food Habits. …”
