“…Abstract The approaches to teaching are the combination of the intention and the strategy used by the professor in the teaching activity, while the conceptions of teaching are the organization of beliefs, images and concepts that the teacher has about teaching and learning, analyzed in a particular context. Both constructs were worked on mixed methodology, the approaches to teaching questionnaire adapted to the Mexican context was applied to a sample of 245 university professors, and for the conceptions of teaching, a semi-structured interview was applied to 29 professors of the same sample. …”
