Producción y caracterización de enzimas celulolíticas obtenidas de microorganismos aislados de materia vegetal by Arteaga Garcés, Ángel Josué

    Published 2013
“…Área de estudio: Microbiología Aplicada Propósito y Método de estudio: Existe una gran cantidad de microorganismos con capacidad para producir enzimas y degradar residuos lignocelulósicos para la obtención de azúcares que puedan fermentarse para producir biocombustibles, sin embargo; algunos de ellos las producen en muy baja cantidad o las condiciones de cultivo son costosas o difíciles de implementar. …”

Biomass and lipid induction strategies in microalgae for biofuel production and other applications by Alishah Aratboni, Hossein, Rafiei, Nahid, García Granados, Raúl, Alemzadeh, Abbas, Morones Ramírez, José Rubén

    Published 2019
“…There are different types of biofuels (categories and generations) that have been previously explored, but recently, the use of microalgae has been strongly considered for the production of biofuels since they present a series of advantages over other biofuel production sources: (a) they don’t need arable land to grow and therefore do not compete with food crops (like biofuels produced from corn, sugar cane and other plants) and; (b) they exhibit rapid biomass production containing high oil contents, at least 15 to 20 times higher than land based oleaginous crops. …”

Electrochemical Evaluation of a Stainless Steel as Reinforcement in Sustainable Concrete Exposed to Chlorides by Santiago Hurtado, Griselda

    Published 2016
“…For this research three concrete mixtures were produced, the first concrete was made with 100 % cement CPC 30R, the second mixture was considered sustainable concrete because using 80 % of cement CPC 30R and 20 % of silica fume and the third mixture was elaborated with 80 % of cement CPC 30R and 20 % of fly ash, these mixtures were designed according to the method ACI 211.1, in the specimens were embedded bars of AISI 304 stainless steel and AISI 1018 steel, the specimens were exposed in a solution at 3.5 % of NaCl, simulating a marine environment, for to evaluate the corrosion resistance were used electrochemical techniques of Half-Cell Potential, standard ASTM C-876-09 and the Linear Polarization Resistance, standard ASTM G59, results Ecorr and Icorr after 180 days of exposure show that, the best performance was presented concrete specimens produced with 20 % silica fume and reinforced with AISI 304 stainless steel, with corrosion potential (Ecorr) indicating a 10 % probability of corrosion and Icorr values that indicate a passivity level of corrosion.…”
