    “…Se indagó acerca dediferentes aspectos como: el individual, en el cual se preguntaba acerca de experiencias escolares, relaciones con maestros y calificaciones; el de los grupos de pares para saber si influían en las decisiones que el joven tomara para la continuidad escolar; la familia, haciendo énfasis en su convivencia familiar, la influencia de sus hermanos y por último, el aspecto de futuro para saber cómo se visualizaba y que aspiraciones tenía el adolescente Los resultados muestran en primer lugar que el ingresar a un nivel medio superior no resulta significativo para nuestros sujetos de estudio, en segundo la familia resultó un aspecto relevante al no tener expectativas positivas hacia los adolescentes; además factores como la falta de recursos económicos y los embarazos adolescentes emergieron como hallazgos relevantes.SummaryIn order to know the aspects that lead to the secondary level graduates not to continue studies at high school level, a qualitative study was carried out, in which semistructured interviews were applied to 11 students from a public secondary level school in the metropolitan area of Nuevo León. Different aspects were investigated such as: the individual, in which they asked about school experiences, relationships with teachers and grades; that of the peer groups to know if they influenced the decisions that the young person made for schoolcontinuity; the family, emphasizing family coexistence, the influence of their siblings and lastly, the future aspect to know how the adolescent was viewed and what aspirations the adolescent had The results show firstly that entering an high school level is not significant for our study subjects, secondly the family was a relevant aspect as it did not have positive expectations towards adolescents; Furthermore, factors such as lack of financial resources and teenage pregnancies emerged as relevant findings.…”

    “…Abstract Sixty seven houses within the Monterrey, Nuevo Leon metropolitan area were randomly selected; to analyze for differences in indoor and house perimeter resting sites preference between Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus. simple correspondence and conglomerate analysis were used to determine degree of dependence and likeness between resting sites and number of collected specimen.s Results showed that Ae. aegypti has preference for bathrooms and dark surfaces to rest, at a temperature of 30-35°C and 50-60% humidity. …”
