Desarrollo de un prototipo de biosensor basado en nanoconjugados de nanopartículas de carbono y papaína para la detección de cistatina c (cYS c) por Cavazos Jaramillo, Azael Adrián

    Publicado 2020
“…Human protein Cystatin C (Cys C) has been positioned as one of the most promising kidney disease biomarkers, due to maintain a urine and serum stable concentration, despite the factor effect such as age, diet or sex. In this work, carbon nanoparticles synthesized by chemical coprecipitation and characterized by transmission electron microscopy and by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were conjugated with papain (cysteine protease) whose amino groups were covalently bound to carboxyl groups on carbon- anoparticles using 1-ethyl-3-(3 dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide (EDC) and Nhydroxysuccinimide (NHS). …”

Aislamiento y caracterización de antígenos de E. histolytica inductores de producción de óxido nítrico en fagocitos humanos por Corral Symes, Ruth

    Publicado 2008
“…Considering that TNF-α increases NO-dependent macrophage citotoxicity against E. histolytica and that they contribute to develop effective cellular effector mechanisms in the defense against this parasite, we are proposing that the antigens isolated from E. histolytica trophozoites in the present study are excellent immunogens, and therefore, these are idoneous candidates to develop an anti-E. histolytica vaccine.…”

Regulación de la expresión de genes involucrados en la producción de compuestos de azufre en Saccharomyces cerevisiae por Leal Guerra, Clara Susana

    Publicado 2011
“…In the presence of worts with low level of nutrients nitrogen, strain 820 downregulated genes that favor the incorporation of sulfur to carbon skeletons (MET6, MET13, MHT1) and at the same time over expressed genes related to the input of sulfate into the cell generating sulfur (MET3, MET2) in the other hand, strain 790 upregulated the way of balance in the production of AdoMet / methionine (MHT1 gene), without having an effect in any other gene involved. These results were confirmed by using qPCR, analyzing 18 genes total. 820 under the presence of low nitrogen compounds (wort1) was not able to adjust their genetic machinery for the incorporation of sulfur to carbon skeletons, in the other hand under the presence of wort rich in nitrogen compounds (wort 2) regulated its genetic machinery, expressing more genes involved in the transsulfuration pathway (CYS4) favored by the incorporation of serine in the way. 790 behaved differently, was able to adjust their genetic machinery in the presence of low content of nitrogen compounds by activating genes via transsulfuration (CYS4, SER2) as well genes by the incorporation of sulfur for methionine production and S-adenosylmethionine remethylation (MET6, MET13, MHT1). …”
