Inversión conjunta de sísmica de refracción y sondeos eléctricos verticales utilizando programación evolutiva. por Merlo Mejía, Jorge Luis

    Publicado 2017
“…The main objective of the present work is to introduce an algorithm capable of solving the joint inversion of both methods using the Evolutionary Programming technique, a variant of Monte Carlo methods inspired by the evolution of the species and the natural selection from which it was obtained an estimation of parameters quite close to those proposed in direct modeling, it was proved that it is capable of being used in synthetic data contaminated with noise, validating its effectiveness in order to be able to work with real data.…”

Insectos asociados a biomodelos simulando cuatro condiciones de hallazgo de cadáveres. por Briones Espinoza, Héctor Eduardo

    Publicado 2018
“…During the study, biomodels developed different periods of decomposition, due to the effect of environmental variables. Due to the above, the arrival of insects to the different conditions of biomodels, the richness, and diversity of species, as well as the colonization and succession of insects, were aspects that were affected by the different environmental variables that occurred along the study, so it is important to take them into account when carrying out post-mortem time estimates (IPM).…”

Caracterización experimental del efecto de la tasa de deformación en el comportamiento mecánico de un compuesto termoplástico por Ramírez Montes, Carolina

    Publicado 2017
“…In respond to the necessity mentioned above and taking into account that thermoplastics fiber-reinfroced (TFR) composites present several benefits over thermoset materials [1] and have been less studied, the present work focuses on experimental characterization of the strain rate effect on the mechanical behavior of woven polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) TFR composites (carbon and glass fiber) under compression loading using a Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar apparatus and an electro-mechanic universal testing machine for dynamic and quasi-static tests, respectively. …”

Inactivación de norovirus mediante compuestos naturales. por Sotolongo Rodríguez, Dianelys

    Publicado 2017
“…ABSTRACT Human Noroviruses (HuNoV) are the leading cause of outbreaks of non-bacterial gastroenteritis on the planet and are the most common cause of severe diarrhea in children. At present, no effective treatment has been developed against this disease since sanitization based on chlorine solutions used in the food industry, as well as handwashing with soap and water, have been inefficient in achieving the total removal of the pathogen.; in addition there are no efficient vaccines due to their great genetic variability and the lack of a robust study model. …”
