Exact solutions for the agricultural and the two-dimensional packing problems by Cid García, Néstor Miguel

    Published 2015
“…An important characteristic of this problem is that the soil properties (physical and chemical) and the real-time factors (climate, humidity level, evapotranspiration, etc.) are incorporated. …”

The phenotype, psychotype and genotype of bruxism by Cruz Fierro, Norma, Martínez Fierro, Margarita de la Luz, Cerda Flores, Ricardo Martín, Gómez Govea, Mayra Alejandra, Delgado Enciso, Iván, Martínez de Villarreal, Laura Elia, González Ramírez, Mónica Teresa, Rodríguez Sánchez, Irám Pablo

    Published 2018
“…Bruxism is a jaw muscle activity that involves physio-pathological, psycho-social, hereditary and genetic factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the associations between self-reported bruxism, anxiety, and neuroticism personality trait with the rs6313 polymorphism in the gene HTR2A. …”

Wordwide patterns of genetic differentiation imply multiple ‘domestications’of Aedes aegypti, a major vector of human diseases by Brown, Julia E., McBride, Carolyn S., Johnson, Petrina, Ritchie, Scott, Paupy, Christophe, Bossin, Herve, Lutomiah, Joel, Fernández Salas, Ildefonso, Ponlawat, A., Cornel, A. J., Black, William C., Gorrochótegui Escalante, Norma, Urdaneta Marquez, Ludmel, Sylla, M., Slotman, M., Murray, Kristy O., Walker, C., Powell, Jeffrey R.

    Published 2011
“…Understanding the processes by which species colonize and adapt to human habitats is particularly important in the case of disease-vectoring arthropods. The mosquito species Aedes aegypti, a major vector of dengue and yellow fever viruses, probably originated as a wild, zoophilic species in sub-Saharan Africa, where some populations still breed in tree holes in forested habitats. …”

Oxidation Kinetics of Ti-6Al-4V Alloys by Conventional and Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing by Estupiñan López, Francisco Humberto, Orquiz Muela, Carlos, Gaona Tiburcio, Citlalli, Cabral Miramontes, José Ángel, Bautista Margulis, Raúl German, Nieves Mendoza, Demetrio, Maldonado Bandala, Erick, Almeraya Calderón, Facundo, Lopes, Amit Joe

    Published 2023
“…At oxidation temperatures of 800 and 900 °C, however, highest hardness values (from 870 close to the alpha-case interface up to 300 HV in base metal) were found on the surface and gradually decreased towards the center of the base alloy. …”

El gasto en salud de los hogares en México, y su relación con la disponibilidad de recursos, las remesas y la asignación intrafamiliar by Valero Gil, Jorge Noel, Treviño Villarreal, María de Lourdes

    Published 2010
“…Abstract: This study analyzes the effect that the availability of resources and remittances have on household healthcare expenditure, as well as its intra-household allocation, a topic that has barely been explored in the case of Mexico. Using a Tobit model and gls, we find that health is a luxury good, with an expenditure elasticity useful for social valuation close to 2.0, and another useful for private investment of 1.24. …”

Study of vacancies and Pd atom decoration on the electronic properties of bilayer graphene by Galván, Donald H., Posada Amarillas, A., Núñez González, R., Mejía Rosales, Sergio, Yacamán, Miguel José

    Published 2010
“…Theoretical analyses were performed on graphene 2L (two layers) with vacancies (carbon 3 and 13) (sample A), graphene 2L with vacancies and the two carbon atoms intercalated in between the two carbon layers (sample B), graphene 2L with the vacancies intercalated and subsequently with two Pd atoms on one of the layers, the top layer (called surface) (sample C), and, last but not least, graphene 2L with vacancies intercalated and decorated with six Pd atoms on the surface (sample D). For the four cases enunciated, energy bands were performed which provided information about the semimetallic behavior, showing more semi-metallic character for the first case, while less metallic behavior occurs for the second and third one. …”
