The results showed that the independent distance indices presented slightly better results in the prediction of growth of normal diameter for Pinus durangensis, of which the two best indices of competition were used, ICi12 (derived from the radius between the basal area of the tree Objective and the basal area of the plot) and ICi6 (which represents the cup competition factor (CCF), to be analyzed in four base models. …”
