Conditional betas and Market re-definition: Revisiting the capital asset pricing model with Mexican data
Published 2012“…The results suggested, however, that it is necessary to allow for time variations in betas as well in order to explain the variations of the monthly average returns. A size effect was also found, although it is not very important. In spite of the empirical support found for the conditional CAPM over the static CAPM, both specifications explain about half of the monthly average return variation, which calls for differences in the pricing of risk between developed and emerging countries…”

Two-stage melting of au-pd nanoparticles
Published 2006“…We found that the melting transition temperature has a strong dependence on the relative concentrations of the atomic species. We also found that, previous to the melting transition, the outer layer of the nanoparticle gets disordered in what can be thought as a premelting stage, where Au atoms near the surface migrate to the surface and remain there after the particle melts as a whole. …”

Uso de bacteroidales como rastreador de fuente de contaminación fecal en fresa y tomate contaminados artificialmente.
Published 2015“…No correlation between levels of Bacteroidales and traditional bacterial indicators was observed in samples contaminated with human and bovine faces. In all samples of contaminated vegetables, levels of Bacteroidales was 2 log CFU higher than traditional indicators; however, traditional indicators showed high variation and E. coli from bovine source was not detected in contaminated samples with lower concentrations (0.1 y 0.01 mg). …”
