“…El otorgamiento de apoyos para reforestación consiste básicamente en el establecimiento, protección y mantenimiento de plantaciones con fines de conservación y restauración de ecosistemas forestales, en este sentido se analizaron los resultados obtenidos en las evaluaciones externas realizadas para verificar el cumplimiento de los objetivos y metas anuales cuantificando los impactos económicos, ambientales y sociales, dando como resultado que los apoyos para reforestación han sido históricamente los más solicitados, otorgando recursos económicos por un monto superior a los 86 millones de pesos en el periodo 2007 a 2012 y superando las 69 mil hectáreas de superficie reforestada, no obstante a estos resultados la supervivencia en campo ha sido inferior al 50%, indicando como principal causa de no sobrevivencia de planta a la sequía, seguida por la fecha inadecuada de plantación; por eso es indispensable que se otorgue capacitación adecuada a los responsables de los distintos procesos del ciclo de reforestación, sobre las mejores técnicas de colecta de semilla, la producción y cuidado de la planta en vivero, el traslado y las técnicas más apropiadas de plantación en campo.…”
