Debido a que en efecto, ya se contemplaba una forma de control difuso previa a esta citada reforma (la contemplada en el artículo 133 constitucional), ahora se incorpora la denominada control de la convencionalidad, y aunque también es un control que se considera difuso, hemos preferido seguir el criterio que establece a ambas formas de control constitucional como difuso lato sensu, y subdividirlas en control difuso stricto sensu (la prevista en el referido artículo 133 de la Constitución, y que garantiza la constitucionalidad de normativas diversas) y el control difuso de la convencionalidad. …”
