In vivo antimicrobial activity of silver nanoparticles produced via a green chemistry synthesis using Acacia rigidula as a reducing and capping agent by Escárcega González, Carlos Enrique, Garza Cervantes, Javier Alberto, Vázquez Rodríguez, Augusto, Montelongo Peralta, Liliana Zulem, Treviño Gonzalez, Mario Tadeo, Díaz Barriga Castro, Enrique, Saucedo Salazar, Esmeralda M, Chávez Morales, Rosa María, Regalado Soto, Diana Ivette, Treviño González, Francisco Moises, Carrazco Rosales, Jose Luis, Villalobos Cruz, Rocío, Morones Ramírez, José Rubén

    Published 2018
“…The Ag-NPs show antimicrobial activities in vitro against Gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and a clinical multidrug-resistant strain of P. aeruginosa) and Gram-positive (Bacillus subtilis) bacteria. Moreover, antimicrobial effects of the Ag-NPs, against a resistant P. aeruginosa clinical strain, were tested in a murine skin infection model. …”

Perfil resistómico en microbioma de lechuga (Lactuca sativa) y perejil (Petroselinum crispum) en punto de venta en mercados de Monterrey, N.L. y su área metropolitana. by Betancourt Mejorado, Dante Aldhair

    Published 2018
“…The municipality that presented the highest number of resistance genes identified was Apodaca, as well as there was a higher incidence of ARG in the parsley, with a total of 38 composite positive samples, while for lettuce 25 composite positive samples; Despite the trends, no significant differences were found (α = 0.05) between the genes, municipalities and type of plant, only in E. coli strains, where the comparison between type of vegetable did show significant differences.…”
