“…La presente investigación examina la prevalencia defumadores y bebedores de alcohol, y se compara el grado de conocimiento de99 adolescentes preuniversitarios con inclinación al área de la salud e ingeniería conrespecto a los daños a la salud por consumo de alcohol y tabaco y su percepción sobrela imagen social por consumo de estos, en Monterrey, N.L. (México). Encontrándoseque la edad de inicio y la intensificación para adquirir el hábito de fumar y beberalcohol enlos estudiantes adolescentes preuniversitarios, al margen de su inclinaciónde estudios, comienza tempranamente y aumenta acentuándose con la edad, con unaprevalencia de 5 y 7 estudiantes por cada 10 a la edad de 15 años y más. …”
