Published 2015“…CONTRIBUCIONES Y CONCLUSIONES: A través de la presente tesis, se encontró que: la industria automotriz de vehículos ligeros en América del Norte está reaccionando a la tendencia de regionalización usando como base el Tratado de Libre Comercio facilitando el intercambio comercial; la instalación de armadoras va de la mano con el desarrollo de la construcción de vías férreas ya que se busca hacer eficiente el movimiento de grandes volúmenes en trayectos largos; la infraestructura existente en México está más desarrollada para comunicar a México con Estados Unidos; los estados que cuentan con armadoras de vehículos ligeros presentan un desarrollo de infraestructura más avanzado que los estados que no tienen; la concentración principal en el flujo ferroviario de vehículos terminados se concentra en tres estados: Coahuila, Tamaulipas y Sonora; el movimiento de autopartes se hace principalmente por medio del autotransporte debido a que presentan tiempos de entrega más críticos que un vehículo terminado; y, el corredor ferroviario más importante es el de la Ciudad de México-Guanajuato-San Luis Potosí-Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo.…”
