“…Objetivo: Evaluar el efecto de una dieta sin gluten y caseína, suplementada con ácidos grasos omega-3 en un grupo de pacientes con Trastorno del Espectro Autista que acuden a la fundación ARENA A.C. en la Ciudad de Monterrey, Nuevo León en el periodo de nov 2016-ene 2017. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio experimental controlado no aleatorio realizado, durante ocho semanas donde se valoraron 15 sujetos en un rango de edad de 312 años con diagnóstico médico de TEA realizando evaluación nutricional y dividiéndolos en tres grupos, grupo A: intervención nutricional con dieta libre de gluten y caseína sin suplementación, entregando lista de alimentos permitidos y no permitidos, grupo B: intervención nutricional con dieta libre de gluten y caseína dieta más suplementación con omega-3 en una dosis de 1.2 g/d y lista de alimentos permitidos y no permitidos; y grupo C: control sin dieta y sin suplementación, aplicando la escala de CARS para la valoración de los ámbitos conductuales propios de la patología, al inicio y al final del estudio. …”
