“…Evaluated indexes was found that the best index included in model of basal increment area prediction, was the index Crown cross-sectional area (CCSA) adjusted the growth models of Fresse and Korf, adjusted the growth models of Fresse and Korf, present a R2 0.2344, a CME 0.000000160 and F value 424.4658, and for Biging and Dobbertin (1992), logarithmic model was adjust, these competition indexes fill surface crownarea (m2), their statistical adjustment present a determination coefficient (R2) of 0.2344, mean square error (MSE) 0.000000160 and F value of 424.4658 for CCSA and for Biging and Dobbertin (1992) an R2 of 0.2438, and SME of 0.000000183 and F value of 624.55 respectively. Previous data, indicate that these two competition indexes offers a major efficiency to model for increment basal area, and approve to observe the models of variances that present the minors values in CME, also shows a highly significant level (Prob. 0.0001).…”
