    “…The biochemical values were averaged, grouping them according to the type of diet and physical activity; the difference between groups was evaluated with the t-Student test and X2.Results: 54 men and 79 women participated, with an average age of 19.45 and average BMI of 24.8 and 23.6, respectively. 43.6% of men and 29.5% of women have some type of dyslipidemia, showing a significant difference (P = 0.02) in triglycerides. 27.06% of the total maintained a hypercaloric diet and found dyslipidemia in 13 students (36.1%) of those who perform this type of diet. According to the criteria of hypercaloric diet consumption and sedentary lifestyle, by gender, it was obtained that 8 women and 4 men present dyslipidemia.Conclusions: A significant difference (P = 0.01) was found between the consumption of a hypercaloric diet and physical inactivity in the frequency of dyslipidemias. …”
