“…El ministro en retiro Genaro David Góngora Pimentel, en una de sus obras denominada Introducción al Estudio del Juicio de Amparo, relata una historia interesante, la cual no reproduzco a literalidad, empero, sí destaco lo más importante de la misma; se refiere a una persona quien fue aprehendida por elementos del ejército, en tiempos de Francisco Villa, la trasladaban de un lugar a otro a fin de ser ejecutada, luego, al pasar por una de las calles vio al juez de distrito, le pidió amparo y este otorgó la suspensión del acto con lo cual impidió dicha ejecución1 . Esa breve reseña me parece ilustrativa de los alcances, la importancia que tiene el juicio de amparo y hasta dónde puede llegar la trascendencia de tan importante institución jurídica, en tanto medio de control de la constitucionalidad de los actos, dentro del sistema jurídico mexicano, pues toda autoridad debe actuar con apego al principio de legalidad y en aras de hacer eficaces los derechos fundamentales de toda persona. …”
