Caracterización del agente etiológico de la necrosis hepatopancreatica (nhp) y su impacto en cultivos de camarón Litopenaeus vannamei en Sonora, México by Ibarra Gámez, José Cuauhtémoc

    Published 2006
“…On this study, the first systematic monitoring for NHP in six shrimp farms located in Sonora was performed during the 2004 culture cycle, mainly by the scarcity of studies over rickettsial infections in L. vannamei. Presumptive diagnosis was based in light microscopy (LM, wet-mounts and H&E stained sections of hepatopancreata) while confirmative identification were realized by isolation of the bacteria in Percoll gradients, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and negative stains for transmission electron microscopy (TEM), looking for differentiate NHP from bacteria genus vibrio. …”

Mineralogical and geochemical evidence of magma mingling/mixing in the Sierra de las Cruces volcanic range, Mexican Volcanic Belt by Velasco Tapia, Fernando, Rodríguez Saavedra, Pedro, Márquez, A., Navarro de León, Ignacio, De Ignacio, Cristina, Marroquín Guerra, Sylvia Gabriela, Quintanilla Garza, Jesús, Rangel Alvarez, Oscar Mario

    Published 2013
“…The evidences of magma mixing and mingling include: (a) normal and sieved plagioclases in the same sample, rounded and embayed crystals, and armoured rims over the dissolved crystal surfaces; (b) subrounded, vesicular magmatic enclaves, ranging from a few millimeters to ~20 centimeters in size, with plagioclase + orthopyroxene + amphibole + quartz ± olivine ± Fe-Ti-oxides assemblage; (c) mineral chemistry evidence such as crystals with reaction rims or heterogeneous plagioclase compositions (inverse and oscillatory zoning or normally and inversely zoned crystals) in the same sample; and (d) elemental geochemical variations and trace-element ratio more akin to magma mixing and to some extent diffusion process. …”

Caracterización experimental del efecto de la tasa de deformación en el comportamiento mecánico de un compuesto termoplástico by Ramírez Montes, Carolina

    Published 2017
“…In respond to the necessity mentioned above and taking into account that thermoplastics fiber-reinfroced (TFR) composites present several benefits over thermoset materials [1] and have been less studied, the present work focuses on experimental characterization of the strain rate effect on the mechanical behavior of woven polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) TFR composites (carbon and glass fiber) under compression loading using a Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar apparatus and an electro-mechanic universal testing machine for dynamic and quasi-static tests, respectively. …”
