Sexual function and reproduction can be impaired in men with rheumatic diseases: A systematic review por Perez Garcia, Luis F., te Winkel, Bernke, Carrizales, Juan P., Bramer, Wichor M., Vorstenbosch, Saskia, Van Puijenbroek, Eugene, Hazes, J.M.W., Dolhain, R.J.E.M.

    Publicado 2020
“…Information about the possible effect of rheumatic diseases on male sexual function and reproduction (sexual health) is scarce and difficult to summarize. Factors known to impair sexual health, such as inflammation, medication use and hypogonadism can be present in a significant proportion of male patients with rheumatic diseases. …”

Efecto de la hipnosis activa sobre la fatiga y optimismo en niños con leucemia linfoblastica aguda. por Terán Briones, América Alejandrina

    Publicado 2018
“…To evaluate the effect of active hypnosis, the COP questionnaire was used to measure optimism, the Epinfant perceived effort scale to measure fatigue and two visual analog scales with faces to measure the aforementioned variables. An increase in optimism (d = 1.50) and a reduction in fatigue (d = -2.4) clinically significant were reported, in comparison with the control group.…”

Inversión conjunta de sísmica de refracción y sondeos eléctricos verticales utilizando programación evolutiva. por Merlo Mejía, Jorge Luis

    Publicado 2017
“…The application of the vertical electrical sounding is appropriate when the geological units are presented superficially and with a great lateral extension in the lithology, although their performance is limited when facing the problem of equivalence. Seismic refraction also has its limitations, such as inability to detect thin strata and their respective depths and velocities. …”

Artificial neural network modeling of phenol adsorption onto barley husks activated carbon in an airlift reactor por Loredo Cancino, Margarita

    Publicado 2013
“…Purpose and method of the study: The production of activated carbon from barley husks (BH) by chemical activation with zinc chloride was optimized by using a 23 factorial design with replicates at the central point, followed by a central composite design with two responses (the yield and iodine number) and three factors (the activation temperature, activation time, and impregnation ratio). …”

Microbiota gastrointestinal y síndrome de intestino irritable por García Mazcorro, José Francisco, Cruz Valdez, Julio César, Marroquín Cardona, Alicia Guadalupe, Sánchez Casas, Rosa María

    Publicado 2014
“…Thirdly, the inability to absolutely establish the microbiota that is characteristic of IBS due to the factors mentioned by García-Mazcorro et al. is a fundamental aspect of our review.2 In fact, that was why we reached the conclusion that even though there is evidence that the intestinal microbiota is different in persons with IBS from that of normal subjects (level 3b evidence, grade B recommendation), it is not possible to establish a microbial composition that is specific for this disorder (level 3b evidence, grade B recommendation).2 On the other hand, we agree that the taxonomic levels found were not mentioned in some cases, but some of the studies reviewed only reported the differences in microbial groups. …”

Uso de bacteroidales como rastreador de fuente de contaminación fecal en fresa y tomate contaminados artificialmente. por Hernández Rangel, Linda Gracia

    Publicado 2015
“…No correlation between levels of Bacteroidales and traditional bacterial indicators was observed in samples contaminated with human and bovine faces. In all samples of contaminated vegetables, levels of Bacteroidales was 2 log CFU higher than traditional indicators; however, traditional indicators showed high variation and E. coli from bovine source was not detected in contaminated samples with lower concentrations (0.1 y 0.01 mg). …”
