Published 2018“…Those extracts selected in this study, for their good antimicrobial and antioxidant activity were not hemolytic, the highest value was 3.1 ± 0.4 % of A. xalapensis stem at a 1,000 ppm of concentration; while cytoprotective capacity of this extract for human erythrocytes against AAPH-induced hemolysis was 98.5 ± 0.9% at 400 ppm of concentration, being to that concentration the best protective activity (100%) presented by the A. xalapensis leaf extract, and the T. cubense leaf, stem and root extracts. …”
