“Last-chance” sales: what makes them credible? por Muñoz García, Félix, González Lozano, Heriberto

    Publicado 2009
“…Then, the set of separating and pooling equilibria is characterized, so that the above usual advertising techniques can be better understood as equilibria of this model for certain parameter values. In particular, this paper shows that, when the firm which continues in the business knows that few of their current customers will come back in future periods, the set of separating equilibria shrinks. …”

Influence of the Capping Ligand on the Band Gap and Electronic Levels of PbS Nanoparticles through Surface Atomistic Arrangement Determination por García Gutiérrez, Diana Fabiola, Hernández Casillas, Laura Patricia, Cappellari, Maria Victoria, Fungo, Fernando, Martínez Guerra, Edgar, García Gutiérrez, Domingo Ixcóatl

    Publicado 2018
“…ABSTRACT: Lead sulfide (PbS) nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical methods with different sizes and different capping ligands (oleic acid, myristic acid, and hexanoic acid), avoiding ligand exchange procedures, to study the effect of characteristics of the capping ligands on their energy levels and band gap values. Experimental results (UV−vis−NIR, Fourier transform infrared, and Raman spectroscopies, cyclic voltammetry, transmission electron microscopy, and electron energy loss spectroscopy) showed a marked influence of the capping ligand nature on the electro-optical properties of PbS nanoparticles with a very similar size. …”

Preparation of nanoparticulate TiO2 containing nanocrystalline phases of anatase and brookite by electrochemical dissolution of remelted titanium components por Ortega Díaz, D., Fernández, D., Sepúlveda, S., Lindeke, R. R., Pérez Bueno, J. J., Peláez Abellán, E., Manríquez, J.

    Publicado 2020
“…This procedure for oxide synthesis is novel as it involves the galvanostatic dissolution of remelted Titanium Components, thus constituting a promising technological route for re-using Titanium-containing metallic pieces from the secondary metals industry to produce nanocrystalline TiO2 powders as a high value-added primary product. The experimental results presented showed that the faradaic efficiency of the TiO2 electro-synthesis, crystalline purity, and dispersion of the electro-generated TiO2 material was significant, despite the fact that the titanium content of the remelted titanium components was less than 80%.…”

    Publicado 2017
“…The main proposal is to use Allium as specialist plants for biofortification with Se and S, considering the natural ability to accumulate both elements in different phytochemicals, which promotes the functional value of Allium. In spite of this, in the agricultural production of these species, the addition of sulfur is not realized to obtain functional foods and plants more resistant; it is only sought to cover the necessary requirements for growth. …”
