No association between polymorphisms/haplotypes of the vascular endothelial growth factor gene and preeclampsia by Garza Veloz, Idalia, Castruita De la Rosa, Claudia, Cortes Flores, Raúl, Martínez Gaytán, Victoria, Rivera Muñoz, José E., García Mayorga, Elda A., Meza Lamas, Esteban, Rojas Martínez, Augusto, Ortiz López, Rocío, Martínez Fierro, Margarita de la Luz

    Published 2011
“…Results: The proportions of the minor allele for rs699947, rs1570360, rs2010963, and rs25648 VEGF SNPs were 0.33, 0.2, 0.39, and 0.17 in controls, and 0.39, 0.23, 0.41, and 0.15 in cases, respectively (P values > 0.05). The most frequent haplotypes of rs699947, rs1570360, rs2010963, and rs25648 VEGF SNPs, were C-G-C-C and C-G-G-C with frequencies of 0.39, 0.21 in cases and 0.37, 0.25 in controls, respectively (P values > 0.05) Conclusion: There was no evidence of an association between VEGF alleles, genotypes, or haplotypes frequencies and PE in our study…”

Oxidation Kinetics of Ti-6Al-4V Alloys by Conventional and Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing by Estupiñan López, Francisco Humberto, Orquiz Muela, Carlos, Gaona Tiburcio, Citlalli, Cabral Miramontes, José Ángel, Bautista Margulis, Raúl German, Nieves Mendoza, Demetrio, Maldonado Bandala, Erick, Almeraya Calderón, Facundo, Lopes, Amit Joe

    Published 2023
“…The samples oxidized at 600 °C for 24 h presented the lowest hardness values (from 350 to 470 HV). At oxidation temperatures of 800 and 900 °C, however, highest hardness values (from 870 close to the alpha-case interface up to 300 HV in base metal) were found on the surface and gradually decreased towards the center of the base alloy. …”

AC plasma induced modifications in Sb2S3thin films by Calixto Rodriguez, María Estela, Castillo, F., Martínez, Heriberto, Peña Méndez, Yolanda, Sánchez Juárez, Arón

    Published 2010
“…X-ray diffraction studies have shown that plasma treatment induced recrystallization on the as-prepared Sb2S3 thin films. The band gap values decreased from 2.37 to 1.82 eV after plasma treatment, and the electrical conductivity increased from 10 to 10 ( cm) due to the annealing effect.…”
