“…A partir de los resultados de la investigación “Aportes de la fundamentación teórica y metodológica de la perspectiva histórico-crítica a la intervención profesional en Trabajo Social”, realizada entre 2010 y 2011, la cual tomó como categorías de estudio la intervención profesional y la perspectiva histórico-crítica con base en la producción de la colección de la Biblioteca Latinoamericana de Servicio Social, se buscó desmitificar la creencia —generalizada en Colombia— acerca del escaso trato de la intervención profesional en la producción brasilera, evidenciando para ello sus aportes alrededor de las categorías “cuestión social”, política(s) social(es), objeto de conocimiento, objeto de intervención, método, metodología, dimensión ética, dimensión política, proyecto ético-político y contexto, abordadas con base en las categorías marxistas de historicidad, totalidad, ontología del ser social, método histórico-dialéctico, que la perspectiva asume para su producción teórico-metodológica. En el proceso se tiene presente que el Trabajo Social actúa en la realidad social mediando las relaciones del Estado y la sociedad civil en el proceso de reproducción de las relaciones sociales, y se articula en la sociedad como una “profesión inscrita en la división sociotécnica del trabajo” (Iamamoto, M., 1997), dejando como resultado la pluralidad de concepciones que surgen alrededor de la intervención, la mediación y la instrumentalidad como conceptos que se relacionan y se contraponen.…”
