“…Material y Método: La muestra se constituyó de 105 niños de educación especial de diferentes escuelas del área metropolitana de Monterrey entre 6 a 12 años de edad, pacientes que accedieron voluntariamente y que sus padres habían firmado la carta de consentimiento informado, se analizó el nivel de placa dentobacteriana a través del método de Índice de Higiene Oral Simplificado de Greene y Vermillio, en el cual se examinan 6 dientes uno por cada sextante, se mide por la cara vestibular 1.1, 1.6, 2.6 y 3.1, mientras que 3.6 y 4.6 se les miden por la cara lingual, asignándoles un número del 0 al 3 dependiendo la cantidad de tercios cubiertos por placa dentobacteriana, se suman y se dividen entre la cantidad de piezas examinadas, el mismo método se utiliza para obtener el promedio de cálculo dental, el IHOS es la suma del promedio de ambos promedio, se utilizó la prueba de χ 2= 35.52 con un valor de p=0.0001, no existe relación entre la discapacidad y el índice de higiene. …”

“…We present three cases of epidermal tumors different from clear cell acanthoma that have the same “string of pearls” vascular pattern. Even though most authors keep considering the “string of pearls” vascular pattern an almost pathognomonic sign of clear-cell acanthoma, the cases presented here suggest that some other epidermal tumors can also show this pattern. …”
