In conclusion the rate of AGE is no so high to surpass the AGTV in both feed systems, this allow us think, the meat is a functional food, because of the AGTV allows to offset the AGE effects.…”

“…To evaluate the coatings a central composite experimental design was used to study the effect vanadium carbide content and nanostructured particles concentration on the hardness, coefficient of friction and wear rate of WC-17Co-VC bimodal coatings. The additions of 5 % of vanadium carbide with 50% of nanostructured particles in the coatings, allowed to reduce the friction coefficient up to 27% compared with the coating without VC additions and nor nanostructured particles, so it was shown that the refinement of the microstructure to the nanometric dimensions and the additions of VC favorably influence the wear resistance. …”
