Discrimination in clinical settings and its relationship to depression and anger in women living with HIV por Moral de la Rubia, José, Segovia Chávez, María Petra

    Publicado 2014
“…Results: These women feared being discriminated against, perceived discrimination upon the review of medical records, but perceived little discrimination in clinical care. a model with good adjustment to the data showed that the fear of being discriminated against creates a disposition toward perception of discrimination in the clinical settings (latent variable with 2 indicators: review of the medical records and clinical care) and increases cognitive/affective depressive symptoms; higher anger control decreases the anger manifestation; greater discrimination perceived in the clinical settings decreases anger control, which facilitates the expression of anger and slows cognitive/affective depressive symptoms; and these latter symptoms sensitize the perception of discrimination before the clinical records. …”

An applied general equilibrium analysis of fiscal reforms to fight poverty in Mexico por Núñez Rodríguez, Gaspar, Polo Andrés, Clemente

    Publicado 2008
“…The cash transfers required to attain a fixed increase in the Equivalent Variation (EV) of the lowest income households are obtained either increasing effective VAT rates or IT rates. When all rates are scaled up by the same factor, the VAT reform generates a positive global EV considerably larger than the one obtained scaling the IT rates, though the latter diminishes (increases) lower (higher) income households’ contribution. …”

A Theoretical Study of the Hydration of Methane, from the Aqueous Solution to the sI Hydrate-Liquid Water-Gas Coexistence por Luis, Daniel, García González, Alcione, Saint Martin, Humberto

    Publicado 2016
“…Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics simulations were done with three recent water models TIP4P/2005 (Transferable Intermolecular Potential with 4 Points/2005), TIP4P/Ice (Transferable Intermolecular Potential with 4 Points/ Ice) and TIP4Q (Transferable Intermolecular Potential with 4 charges) combined with two models for methane: an all-atom one OPLS-AA (Optimal Parametrization for the Liquid State) and a united-atom one (UA); a correction for the C–O interaction was applied to the latter and used in a third set of simulations. …”

Ultrasound-guided umbilical venous catheterisation: A cost-effectiveness analysis por Guzmán de la Garza, Francisco Javier, Laredo Flores, Argelia Dardane, Cárdenas del Castillo, Bárbara, Cordero Franco, Hid Felizardo, Salinas Martínez, Ana María, Fernández Garza, Nancy Esthela, Ochoa Correa, Erika del Carmen

    Publicado 2020
“…Results: Catheter obstruction was more frequent in guided catheterisation than in conventional catheterisation (7.7% vs. 0%, P = .04) and catheter dysfunction was higher in the latter (79% vs. 3.8%, P < .0001). The cost-effectiveness ratio of the guided catheterisation was…”

Two new species of notodasus fauchald, 1972 (Annelida: Capitellidae) from the Central Indo-Pacific region por Lin, Junhui, García Garza, María Elena, Arbi, Ucu Yanu, Wang, Jianjun

    Publicado 2019
“…Comparisons are made with closely related species in this paper, and a revised key is provided to all described Notodasus species. The descriptions of the two new species represent the first record of Notodasus in this region and expand the geographical distribution of the genus.…”

Association between depressive symptoms and psychosocial factors and perception of maternal self-efficacy in teenage mothers por Lara, Ma Asunción, Patiño, Pamela, Navarrete, Laura, Hernández, Zaira, Nieto, Lourdes

    Publicado 2017
“…The teenage mother’s assessment of her maternal self-efficacy is associated with her performance, in other words, the way she relates and responds to the needs of her infant, which has major implications for the latter’s development. Objective. To study the association between personal (depressive symptoms, self-esteem) and environmental characteristics (social support, partner satisfaction) and those of the infant (problems with infant care, the infants’s temperament) and the perception of maternal self-efficacy (PME) in adolescent mothers. …”
