One specific A. canescens miRNA (aca-miRn1) suffered a meaningful repression, which for complementarity in the sequence, seems to regulate the transcription factor HIG1/MYB51, which at same time controls the genetic expression of two enzyme isoforms from the PGDH family, enzymes that play a very important role in salt stress metabolites synthesis, such as betaine and glutathione. …”
