Publicado 2006“…An automatic marine temperature simulator (SITMA) was designed, built and tested to compare the effect of constant vs. oscillating temperatures on the scope for growth (SFG), biomass growth, survival and condition of 6-7 cm shell height lions-paw scallop Nodipecten subnodosus. The SITMA was designed to control the temperature in 70 L tanks with an open water flow, and was evaluated by means of the time response at extreme programmed temperatures, and the departures from an oscillating model of 22 ± 12 °C, 1 cycle/day. …”
