Natural carbon stable isotope ratios as indicators of the relative contribution of live and inert diets to growth in larval Senegalese sole (Solea senegalensis) por Gamboa Delgado, Julián, Cañavate, José Pedro, Zerolo, Ricardo, Le Vay, Lewis

    Publicado 2008
“…The results suggest that co-feeding regimes in Solea senegalensis larvae may be adjusted to meet ontogenetic changes in the capacity for larvae to utilise inert diets. The contrasting levels of carbon isotope discrimination between diet and tissue in larvae reared on either 100% live feed or 100% inert diet indicate relatively poor utilization of nutrients from the inert diet. …”

Natural stable isotopes as indicators of the relative contribution of soy protein and fish meal to tissue growth in Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) fed compound diets por Gamboa Delgado, Julián, Le Vay, Lewis

    Publicado 2009
“…Muscle tissue of shrimps fed either on 100% fishmeal- or soy-based diets showed contrasting Δ15N and Δ13C, the former being positively correlated to soy protein inclusion level. The magnitude of these values further increased when shrimps were fed on diets containing the lower protein level. …”

Microbiota gastrointestinal y síndrome de intestino irritable por García Mazcorro, José Francisco, Cruz Valdez, Julio César, Marroquín Cardona, Alicia Guadalupe, Sánchez Casas, Rosa María

    Publicado 2014
“…Thirdly, the inability to absolutely establish the microbiota that is characteristic of IBS due to the factors mentioned by García-Mazcorro et al. is a fundamental aspect of our review.2 In fact, that was why we reached the conclusion that even though there is evidence that the intestinal microbiota is different in persons with IBS from that of normal subjects (level 3b evidence, grade B recommendation), it is not possible to establish a microbial composition that is specific for this disorder (level 3b evidence, grade B recommendation).2 On the other hand, we agree that the taxonomic levels found were not mentioned in some cases, but some of the studies reviewed only reported the differences in microbial groups. …”
