Published 2017“…This could be in turn related to several geologic structures like normal and thrust faults at the folded chain, such the events recorded on September 19, 2016 with depths at 4 km and Mw 3.9, probably associated to faults traced between the anticlines Pinal Alto and Poleo. From focal mechanisms determinations, the events considered within the sedimentary crust, two events were characterized with reverse faulting, one with a normal fault solution, and another with vertical faulting, and the rest with solutions of lateral faults. …”
